The Curv GT 85 Redefine

In addition to Fischer's continued investment in environmental protection, The Curv GT 85 Redefine personifies the Holy Grail of sustainable design. This concept ski is not just a product, it is a testament to Fischer's belief in continuing to push the boundaries of environmentally sustainable ski production. The Curv GT 85 Redefine not only minimizes its footprint, it completely redefines it.

The effect of Curv GT 85 Redefine

In addition to the fact that the Curv GT 85 Redefine is produced entirely in Austria in an efficient production process, it embodies the next step towards a more environmentally friendly and resource-saving production of skis. The CO2 equivalent is checked by external independent bodies and helps to better compare the effects of using different materials. In the case of the Curv GT 85 Redefine, the ski saves a total of 36% CO2 equivalent compared to the production of a comparable ski. Of this, 100% is saved in the plate, 51% in the Titanal and 25% in the other components. The aim for the future is to continue to reduce these CO2 equivalents.

The Curv

The Curv is the antithesis of the RC4 racing series. Based on the same know-how and the same innovations and technologies that flow directly from the World Cup into all products with the RC4 emblem, the Curv is also a racing ski by nature, but with road approval. The Curv stands for maximum versatility in different radii and conditions, for endless skiing fun and playing with forces.

Frequently asked questions

Fischer The Curv skis are generally designed for advanced to expert-level skiers. These skis cater to those who enjoy high-performance, precise, and aggressive skiing on groomed slopes. They are particularly known for their exceptional edge grip, stability at high speeds, and responsive carving capabilities. The Curv series is built with race technology, making it well-suited for skiers who have solid technique, prefer short to medium-radius turns, and seek dynamic control and performance. While advanced skiers will appreciate these skis for their power and precision, they may be too demanding for beginners or intermediate skiers who prefer a more forgiving ride.
Fischer The Curv skis are best suited for groomed slopes and hard-packed terrain, making them ideal for those who enjoy precision carving on-piste.

These skis excel on:
  • Groomed runs – Their stiff construction and race-inspired technology allow for smooth, controlled turns and excellent edge grip on well-maintained slopes.
  • Hard-packed snow – Fischer The Curv skis perform exceptionally well on firm or icy conditions, providing stability and confidence at high speeds.
  • Piste skiing – Designed for carving, they are optimized for short to medium-radius turns on on-piste terrain. While they can handle some mixed conditions, they are not ideal for powder, off-piste, or moguls due to their focus on aggressive carving and on-piste performance.
Yes, bindings are included.
The ideal width for Fischer The Curv skis largely depends on your skiing style, preferences, and the type of terrain you frequent. For Fischer The Curv skis, which are designed primarily for on-piste performance and carving, the focus is typically on a narrow waist width. Narrower width: For skiers who prioritize speed, precision, and aggressive carving on very firm, icy slopes. Narrower widths give faster, more responsive turns. Wider width: Slightly wider options offer a bit more versatility for mixed conditions while still excelling on-piste, providing a balance between carving performance and stability.
