Best for: All-mountain skiing, with a focus on groomed slopes and mixed terrain. These widths offer a balance between carving ability on groomed runs and enough float for light powder or off-piste skiing. Suitable for skiers who spend most of their time on-piste but occasionally venture off-piste.
Ranger 96 & Ranger 102
Best for: Versatile all-mountain performance with more off-piste capability. This range offers more float in powder, making it ideal for skiers who like to explore off-piste terrain but still want solid performance on groomed runs.
Ranger 108 & 116
Best for: Powder and freeride skiing. Wider skis in this range provide excellent flotation in deep snow and are designed for off-piste, backcountry, and soft-snow conditions. While they can handle groomed runs, they are less agile for carving and more suited for softer snow and freeride terrain.

Which boots are best suited to the Ranger depends entirely on the area of use of the skis and the selected binding. If an alpine binding is fitted and the Ranger is used for freeride, all-mountain and on-piste skiing, our alpine boots such as the RC4 boots with different flex strengths are best suited. If a touring binding is fitted that only has DYN inserts at the front, the Ranger DYN or the RC4 Pro MV DYN are the most suitable ski boots. If a pure touring binding is fitted that requires tech inserts at the front and rear, the Transalp is a suitable boot model.
